fertilisers are used for plant growth but plant growth are beneficial for animal growth. so increased fertlisiers = more nitrates = more plant growth = animals have more to eat = more animal growth

Maybe but I thought it was relating to fish farming so surely they are fed protein pellets? Anyway idc, i'm sure we will pick up marks for all the eutrophication stuff.

I thought the gm fish absorbs more protein so less protein in their faeces so less ammonia made by decomposers, less nitrites so less nitrates

wait did it say in the question that gm fish absorb more protein?

no but I think that was the answer to the question of why the gm fish are bigger despite being fed the same diet so you had to make some link there but idk

Yea i think you could have also said more growth hormones - there were probs lots of possible mark points for that q.

feed conversion index was less for gm & they were fed protein pellets so yeah basically

aah so there prob could be a lot of possible answers for the last one. didnt even think about faeces containing less protein just went straight to talk about eutrophication and bacteria dying.

nah yeah i talked about the conversion index for that q but talked about eutrophication for the last.
