Although I need BCC or BBB for a scholarship and predicited A*A*A, I am worried that perhaps what my teachers mark me to be is maybe wont reflect a harsh marker and do worse than I think and perhaps not get my scholarship

That's completely understandable, your teachers predicted grades wouldn't have been done lightly though, believe in yourself! Best of luck with what's to come 😀

Probably not finding anything through clearing because exams aren't doing so great and i'll doubt i'll get the grades to get into uni which is BBB. I've never been good at exams even though i practise, the stress and timing really just throws me off. rip

Yeah me too

Definitely missing my offer for me - especially as I am resitting A levels and technically am predicted to miss my firm offer.

I'm worried about hard work not paying off, but not mainly for the exams themselves. I managed to get myself an Oxbridge offer at the start of the year and I can honestly say I've never worked as hard for anything in my entire life and definitely couldn't manage it again. Most of my exams have gone really well apart from Physics which I need at least an A in to meet my offer conditions. Whatever happens will happen but if I missed my conditions I'd probably be quite disappointed. We'll have to see...

Yeah I get how u feel, I got a St Andrews offer after applying really last minute as I genuinely didn’t think I’d make it and I really don’t wanna let all of my hard work from earlier this year go to waste :/

I got an offer to study law at the university glasgow which is an absolute dream of mine, a couple of years ago I barely spoke English and now I have a chance to study in one of the top 10 best unis for law in the UK ,its all surreal. I think ive been doing really well in my exams so far but the stress of results day is killing me and the thought of not going to my firm is haunting.

I've had 3 out of 4 Further Maths papers and they've all been really easy, but in the last two papers, stupid things have been done in the paper, which is making me super nervous about the final paper. I need at least 70/75 to be in with a chance of getting an A*, if the grade boundaries are 86% (250 out of 300).

My modules are FS1 and FM1 and in 2022, they were 243 for a similar difficulty set of papers, though ours are probably slightly harder. Last year, it was 224 for an A* so I'm hopeful that it's somewhere in between the two for an A*. I put in so much work for Further Maths and I'm really sad that it's not really paid off yet. My mental health is down in the dumps and I feel like the Walking Dead right now.

I'm scared bc I'm confident in getting As in 2 of my subjects but not as confident in my third - I really don't want to miss out on attending my dream uni just from one dropped grade! Fingers crossed, I hope maybe the uni might still accept me haha

I fear mediocrity.

I think my best case scenario will be (A in EPQ) A* A* B, most likely (A in EPQ) AAB but worst case scenario (A in EPQ) AAC.

For me, the C would absolutely ruin my overall result. (Although I am confirmed a spot at my firm uni with the A in the EPQ one grade below the ABB requirement).

Anyway, I have to sit my final exam before worrying, but I really fear of seeing a C on that results paper in Summer.

Albeit, I would have had to have done worse in this particular subject than my year 12 and 13 mocks where I got an overall B both times.

Thanks! ❤️

Computing Paper 1 and Chemistry Paper 1 went really well today so it's made me feel a lot better so hopefully, momentum will push me forwards from the state of inertia I was in after 8 hours of Maths exams last week.

Hi, I am an offer holder at UCL for philosophy and economics. My offer is A*AA with an A* in maths. If I get an A*AA but an A in maths, would I still be accepted for the course??

Thanks

Discretion of UCL, but I don't think so because they've specified A* in Maths and with how competitive UCL Econ is, very very slim chance of acceptance.

doubt it’ll be 250 for an A*, from the sounds of it stats was hell, and in 2022 there was advanced info which inflated grade boundaries, don’t sweat it bro
