Hello, I plan to take the Math A level exam in Oct/Nov and I would like to know how you plan out your studying. Are you a Private Candidate? Can I study the Whole Math A level within 3 months?

Hey, I personally would say 3 months is pushing it close, just because maths has multiple components to it, you have statistics, mechanics, pure 1 and pure 3, but it also depends on how much content you’ve already done, for example if you’ve already covered half of the syllabus I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to do the rest in 3 months, yes you would have to work hard but it is possible.

In regards to how I plan out my studying, I revise one chapter and I solve a whole bunch of questions related to that topic, once I reach the point where I’m getting nearly all the questions I’m doing right I then move on to the next topic, and then after I’ve finished all the topics I solve full past papers, what exam board are you appearing for ?

I know that I don't have enough time because my teacher messed it up he literally ditched me before the exams, I am planning to re-take it, would you mind telling me some tips that could help me or other any study groups

I see, but if you have doubts how do you clear it? Do you watch online lectures for it?

So I take it you’ve studied the whole syllabus before, I’d say then yeah you can do it in 3 months, I recently gave my AS level so I’d be more than happy to help you with that portion of the syllabus

usually my doubts were specific to the questions in the past paper so I’d watch a video on someone solving that question, if I felt I had doubts in the topic I knew I hadn’t revised it well enough so I would go through it again
