Would I be able to do better in foundation gcse 2024 maths paper for edexcel ? Even if I didn’t do well in paper 1 and 2 ? Would I be able to still get a 4 ? If so what advise to anyone give me for maths ? Past papers or learning content fully ?

How much time do you have until the exam? My advice to everyone regarding any maths exam is just to practise. Do as many past papers as you can and target the topics that you find the most difficult. If you only have a short amount of time left, then target the areas that are most likely to come up. Don't just read over notes, do as many questions as you can. You'll likely get things wrong, but you will learn by figuring out why you got it wrong and then fixing it for the next time.

Whatever you do, do not attempt to learn maths just by reading over notes. It does not work. Answering questions is the only way to ensure that you truly understand a topic.

I have my last maths exam on Monday paper 3 but I need to pass I use like maths genie and I go through videos and exam questions but idk what to do I want to make a difference in my grade for this last paper. I’m nearly in finished in learning the content with the exam questions , because before I used to know the context but never would know how to apply it in exam questions. I don’t want to fail this so do u recommend me doing past papers on paper 3 ? Because it’s my last exam ? (Btw thank u for replying I’m so scared idk what to do)

Yes, I would strongly recommend going over past paper questions. Since you only have this weekend, my advice would be to do one or two full past papers under timed conditions. Go through all of the questions afterwards and make sure that you understand why you got certain things wrong. This is the most important part of the learning process. Don't move on to the second paper until you fully understand everything in the first paper. The mistakes you make are going to help you learn the fastest, so the point of doing these questions is to figure out where you are actually making those mistakes in the first place. Try to do at least one of those exams closed book in exam conditions.

As a final note, it's normal to be stressed about exams, but don't let it overwhelm you too much. I know all too well what it feels like to revise for an exam when you can't really remember all the content (Heck, I just sat an exam that I crammed all the content for two days prior). Just get those two past papers done and take it easy on Monday morning. Don't cram any new info the morning of the exam, and make sure you enter it with a cool head.

thank you so much ! You’re a life saver! But can I ask should I continue finishing the content first? Because I’m doing grade 5 which is the last grade of content that I need to finish so would you recommend me finishing that first then do any exam past paper ? I’m going to finish it today as it’s my goal😂 (btw I don’t know how to express this to you but thank u so much !) I’ll do a past paper tomorrow because if you recommend me finishing the content then I think it’s better for me to do a paper tommorow because I think it would be a lot in just one go? So would u recommend ?

No worries! I'm happy to help. You should be familiar with all of the topics, so you should finish going over grade 5 before you start doing past papers. Just make sure that you get a bit of actual practice in before the exam.
