Aqa english language paper 2 2024 disaster

Today before my alevel English exam I was so sick bc of heartburn and asthma. I had to do my exam after everyone else when my meds kicked in & I couldn’t throw up. I’m so angry bc the invigilator didn’t even ask my teacher abt my time (I was finishing after every1 else bc I was sick) & she snatched my paper up right at a crucial part of my last qn - an Article. My teacher even reasoned with her to give me the paper back bc the time was wrong (my invigilator made a mistake) & yet she didn’t. All I wanted was to finish my own sentence. Do you lose marks for not finishing? (Well, obviously but pls just get my mind off this mess). Genuinely gutted as I knew what to write and it was so good and yet I was denied 30 mins simply because I was sick and everyone knew it too. Genuinely so ****ed I can’t.

That's messed up, I'm sorry to hear that. You will lose marks for it. Your teacher actually should've done something. I hope you get good grades.
It's not your fault, it's the teacher's and invigilator's fault

Do contact the school again as they should report it officially to the exam board as extenuating circumstances.

I asked my actual teacher about Special Consideration and he only put down some symptoms of me being sick and didn’t say anything about the time mismanagement. They just kept saying I would be fine even though it’s my literal whole question 4. Just thinking abt it makes me wanna cry.

They are trying to cover themselves as it’s their responsibility to give you the correct time. Contact the administration team and ask the head of centre to investigate as they are obligated to investigate any malpractice. You can report to AQA but they may not be able to help you directly.
