Admission Process

Hi ,
My daughter she studied her secondary school in India . As we are here i want to join with me here ,her date of birth is 09/10/2008. I would like to know about her admission process ,like in which year she will be joining.i did her statement of comparability but she received level 1 grade3-1 whom i need to approach for her admission as i am new i dont know tge process over here can i know in detail about her process.

Your child is 15 years old, and should be in Year 10 at Secondary school. you will prob need to find a school. if you speak your local council they can sort her out for year 10 and she can go to any secondary school that has space unless it is selective eg. grammar schools. speak to your local council. you can find your local authority here: Find your local council - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). admissions to grammar schools in year 10 are usually rare so it better to stick to upper shools (non-selective).
