Requesting future advice

This year I'll be going into S6, I'll be doing:
•AH computing science
•AH maths
•AH mandarin
•H accounting
•H chemistry
•H physics (crash)
•NPA6 cyber security

In the future, I want to study to be an engineer (not decided what to specifically) and go to Glasgow or Strathclyde, im not sure what exactly I should be doing, and if 7 subjects is too much for me.

I enjoy maths generally, but physics is kinda hard, we've started doing SUVAT equations and I'm struggling alot, but I think that might be because I'm crashing it.

I'm not sure if I should drop a subject to focus more on the rest, or anything that I need to do to get into uni, can i get advice on this?

It's my first post and I'm not really sure what info I should have given, please tell me if I've missed anything

maybe look into software engineering, or computer science.
also, DO NOT TAKE 7 SUBJECTS advanced highers are far too much work and your workload will be unmanagable,
I'd suggest taking a max of 5 subjects but 3AH's alone will be loads of work and all unis only look for 3 AH's max, nothing more.

I would say definitely drop at least 1 subject, most people who do 3 AH don't do any other courses.
Check the unis that you want to go to and see what their entry requirements are

Should I drop accounting? I'm not sure if it'll be useful in the future

If you need all 3 AHs, dropping accounts would definitely be the best option as it's quite a demanding Higher but workload wise dropping an AH would give you enough time to get better grades on the rest. It's depends on what subjects uou need, really

What kind of engineering are you thinking of? I have just completed my 1st year at Glasgow University for one of the engineering courses so ask ahead with any questions!
