my writing in gcse

Guys what happens if you write too lightly on a gcse paper, will it still get scanned. It wasn’t too light (hopefully) but compared to what I wrote later it was much lighter.
Do you think it will scan ???

Omggg yeah mine was grey black too😭😭 hopefully our writing comes through🙏
i'm sure it will come through because you know how for sciences sometimes you need to use a pencil to draw on graphs to get marks, the scanner must be able to pick up the really light grey of the pencils so your pens should be fine

Dw, when they scan pages in they basically photocopy them on a large scale. The scanner prodcues a bit of heat so thats why you can't use thosre friction pens because the ink will go. If it can't be detected on screen they'll fish out the paper and mark it manually so it should all be marked.
