Struggling to revise due to heartbreak

I'm trying to revise for my GCSEs next week but I just got my heart broken and I can't focus on anything- I just keep crying and I feel really ill. I really care about my grades and it would be absolutely horrifying to me if I ended up getting lower than my predicted grades but I just don't know how I can even begin to work when I feel like this. Any advice?
Hey, I’m in my GCSE period too! I’m really sorry abt you getting heartbroken, but I think you need to try block out thinking about it as much as you can. Maybe you can try watching your favourite show/playing a game to get your mind off it? Talking with a friend will most likely help ease your mind

Maybe try thinking of studying as a distraction from your heartbreak?

I’m in exactly the same position, I also got heartbroken. You just have to think, if you don’t revise, they win. They will get the last laugh. U have to prove them wrong by doing well. Because they are expecting that u will fail and drop grades. But u have to prove to urself that u can focus and come out on top. Hope this helped!❤️

I'm so sorry, I know how this feels, and I can really empathise with you.
i have no doubt you are an intelligent, dedicated, and resilient person, and you will look back on this time period in a few years like it was nothing. are you willing to sacrifice your future and your grades for someone who broke your heart? They are nobody, you will not know them in 5 years, realistically. You are much stronger than you think, and you have the capacity to achieve anything you put your mind to. This heartbreak is only temporary, you will regret deeply not trying and studying now when you get your results and see poor grades.

Now, this isn't to say that heartbreak isn't important. You must feel these emotions fully in order to surpass them, and get over the loss. However, just be strong for a little while longer until these exams are over, make sure to treat yourself and engage in self-care; and be around your family and friends. Remember, it isn't your loss, its the other person's. Now show them that you won't give up that easily.

Hope this helps
