I believe it's blocks 3-7 which have a view of the shard but only if you're on the back facing apartments which were E-G? (for context I was room C in an apartment in block 6 and I couldn't see the Shard from my room since I faced the courtyard but we could see it from the kitchen)

I didn't live in London before uni either and had also heard the rumour, but in my experience it was fine! Couple of times I'd be coming back from gigs/events at after 11 and I never had any problems, and it's perfectly fine in the daytime as it's usually joggers, other students and the local primary school in there

I mean...it's not great but it's not awful. It means your floor and the toilet (but not the toilet roll cause that's under the sink) gets all wet every time you have a shower, but it's fine

To my knowledge, they check and clean each room after you move out so they are generally clean but it's not a super deep clean
