It depends on how everyone does I think, I don’t think I did very well but if I revised more I could’ve. Probably the best chem paper since 2019 so I think grade boundaries will be higher than 2019

Definitely. This exam was really nice for the first half but then it was quite strange for the second half?

yeah, the 6 marker came exactly on when I don't like, tbh I might of gotten 3 marks as most of the stuff just made sense to put it as it is presented by them but still, it was supposed to be hardest question on the paper as it was the last. Unit 4 might go well, as long as you know your functional groups, all the mechanisms, all the sections and what changes, and all is good after that

Yea fr defo the hardest paper I’ve seen in the spec imo but I think we’ll be fine
Plus we have prac in the bag and in our 4 to go let’s hope they go nicer for unit four

i would've thought we'd be okay last year since the grade boundaries were very low but since they mentioned going back to normal i'm fearful lol 😭 just glad it wasn't just me that found it the hardest. i went through all the past papers before going in and none of them were as odd as that one imo

They are trying too but their papers seem to be harder than 2019. If everyone does the same then low grade boundaries, not ridiculously low like 2022, but more around in between 2023 and 2019. Id reckon 42-43 for an A out of 80 mars

Does anyone remember what the compound was in the colour absorption reflection question? or the answer? was it blue-green?
