Ok soo basically there’s this boy I have a crush on and my bff knows well I asked my bff to text him that I like him he left her on open 😭 then my bff said that “she won’t stop talking about you”he replied with a “oh” my bff texted back “do you like her” my crush said “not really” 😭 and my bff texted back saying “should I tell her”he said “nah”she said “why” he replied again saying “just nah” and THEN she said “you guys will look cute together” and he left her ON OPEN 😭oh my gosh wow I'm kinda said should I give up on him???

I'd say maybe you should give up on the idea of having a crush on him for now. You've just been rejected, and knowing that it was unrequited can be harming for your mental state. I also say that you should have messaged your crush directly. Maybe there's something deeper going on, such as maybe your crush thought that you can't even bother to tell them directly about your feelings, and they didn't like at. Regardless, it's happened now, and you shouldn't dwell on it too much.
