A Level OCR B SALTERS Chemistry 2024

Does anyone do OCR B A Level chemistry?? Has anyone prepared for the article question for paper 2? I’m a private candidate doing it on my own so would appreciate some help!

Hi! I do OCR B and the pre-release is usually 20-25 marks of the whole paper so not a lot in comparison to the other section! I'm thinking that there'll be some radical equations (initiation, prop then termination) with for example CH3. Maybe some radical substitution. Assigning oxidation states and dot-cross diagrams for each species in the reaction on page one of it and identifying the bond angles alongside that! Hope this helps 😽

Same! other than that I thought it was decent though, the questions weren't too tricky

I found it really good! The nmr was really easy and that six marker on benzene was amazing. Just was unsure about the mr question but should've picked up a couple of marks. Rest was really nice! Wby?

thought it was a really nice paper, i was also a bit stumped on the MCO3 question, what did you guys get for the arrhenius?

nooo i got methanol and methanoic acid omg i just realized i made a huge mistake with the mass spec analysis, hopefully i can get marks from the other stuff
