Freshers events
I was told to get a freshers ticket because a whole group of girls on the gc had alrdy bought it, but I keep seeing videos about possibly being scammed. Does anyone know anything about Leeds fresher event WE LOVE UNIVERSITY tickets or about Fatsoma?
There are people who are in group chats but are reps- representatives. They promote these events in all ways.
Some ppl on my uon chat have had girls privately dm them asking them to buy it now saying “everyone else has”
And yes it’s the same company We love University and Fatsoma who promote these events in most big cities.
Don’t buy any tickets!

Oh god wish I asked sooner bc one of the girls pm me and was saying abt this big spoons first, event after plan saying she wanted to let me know incase I wanted to go, so I bought the ticket bc they seemed legit and searched them up etc 😭 well learn from my mistake ig

I’m sure they’ll be people you get to know who are going there.
Their goal is to get the events more popular

hey i think im in the same gc, i got messaged by the same person i think!!! i said i wasnt going to buy tickets bc i dont drink, and then she messaged me like five more times telling me to buy tickets ahajhsbfaj so i stayed away from that whole thing - sorry to hear you already bought tickets

Yeah!! She so was adamant that I buy them she kept saying “did u get them yet x” hopefully it’s not a scam but we will see ig

i also have no idea about if i should book or not sorry. Also is there any way i can get into the groupchat too cause i’m looking to join leeds this year too thanks
omg yeah! i’ve had so many telling me to buy tickets but i’ve only given into one as it was only £5 so it’s not the end of the world😭 my friends at uni already said defo try not to buy them now as they’re MUCH cheaper on the door the night of and are not sold out even if they say they are! although icl it is pretty convincing when everyone on a gc are saying they have elaborate plans already

I'm in the same boat, these girls went on and on about it. One of the events doesn't look confirmed - I checked on the club website and there's no mention of it.
