Weimar Germany EPQ Help

Hi everyone! I'm currently in preparation of my EPQ. Im not entirely sure wheather this is a better topic for a dissertation or investigation.
The title that im thinking of using is something along the line of How successful was Weimar Germany.

My concern is that I wouldn't have any primary sources for this question. My other option would be something to do with communism (as I do have primary sources for that one). I was thinking of a question along the lines of How was life during communism in former satelite states (or maybe something on the cold war?)
(I also did Germany 1918-1945 and Cold War at GCSE so I already have knowledge of the topics)

Im a bit confused and I would appreciate any help and advice

If you need primary sources to get marks, then go down that route.

I think the idea seems good, if you are concerned about title you could switch it to something more focussed along the lines of ‘weimar was a total success’ ‘weimar was only successful after 1924’ or ‘weimar was only successful socially’
There will be plenty of primary sources for weimar on a website called GHDI, you will probably be able to find both politicians and individuals living within society
You will also be able to find primary sources within secondary source books (as they also quote them) which will still count, a good author to look at is Jeremy Noakes and a good individual is Betty Schloem (you can find her on GHDI)
Unfortunately do not know as much about the Cold War so can’t help there

Thank you so much, ive decided to go with the Weimar Germany question as its a smaller time period and can focus on it a bit more, the Cold War is just way too spread out and a bit hard to be detailed and focused. Thanks a lot for the source recommendations, I will definitelly use them
