Does everyone who applies get a place?

Hi there 👋,

The Wrexham Student Village can only facilitate the maximum amount of people that it can hold safely.

The flats are on a first come first serve basis, so sadly not everyone who applies for student accommodation will get a place.

The WSV tries to priotise students who are first years as it is likely you do not know other students until you start.

Please feel free to contact any questions to:

[email protected] or call 01978 293344 for further information.

I hope this helps,

Good day I am an international student and I will like to reserve an affordable accommodation that is conducive for my studies. Will be moving in by September. I will really appreciate the help and I will be needing the reservation for visa purpose.

You will need to contact the university for this.

That seems quite odd at this stage in the year - do you mean the privately run hall in the town (which could be fully booked) or the university owned Wrexham Student Village? I would recommend getting back in contact with the university as soon as possible - it may be that you need to go with a private landlord but the student union can support you in understanding a landlord's obligations to you and you to them, and check contracts for you.

Hi there,

Thanks for your interest in wanting to stay in Wrexham Student Village for the 2025-26 academic year. Due to the huge demand for rooms currently at WSV we can sometimes struggle to offer everyone who applies a room.

For more information on WSV, please see: Wrexham Student Village - https://wrexham.ac.uk/accommodation/

There are lots of other private rentals available in Wrexham; these can be sourced through a University-approved Student rental website: https://www.wrexhamstudentpad.co.uk

I hope this helps,
