Hello! You don't need to be in our halls of residence to make friends, we are a very sociable University and have a lot of commuter students as well as those that stay in halls and private accommodation. In our Welcome Weeks you will be able to mix with students from all courses, our Student Union puts events on and there are societies to join as well, not to mention all the new friends you will meet on your course! The Welcome Weeks start on the 16th September, we can't wait to welcome you to SHU! 😊
