A-Level Options

Hello people,
I am a Y11 student, who is predicted mostly 9s at GCSEs, and I aspire to go to university at either Oxford or Cambridge for Computer Science in 2026. My current A-Level options at my school are Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, Chemistry, however on doing some research, it appears that physics is often put down as being a useful subject. Overall, I am very good at both subjects, however I enjoy chemistry a bit more. Should I change my A-Levels by swapping Chemistry and Physics for a better chance at university, even though I think I will enjoy it less. And If I do, how much of a difference does it make to my application?

a-level and gcse chemistry are so different and lots of my friends who take stem subjects find physics easier and enjoyable. i would take all four, then drop one at the end of year 12, just to keep your options open and see which one i get the best grade in (as oxbridge requires high predicted grades) as four a-levels dont give any real 'advantage' when applying. the subjects you take dont really matter too much, its more the grades and making sure you do the required subjects. doing what you enjoy is the greatest motivation at the end of the day
