HELP: extra sheets in exams

Hi there,

I am getting really anxious about my a level exams, and need some help.

In every single paper I have had to use extra sheets or the sheets in the back provided.

I am really scared that they won't be seen, or that they will get lost or it won't make sense etc.

1. In one of my papers, I wrote a lot on the back sheets, but I did not have the time at the end to go over them and make sure I put the write question number (let alone a question number), but I am pretty sure I put PTO on the questions. What would happen in the case that I wrote the wrong question or forgot to write the number? (I think it is one of the papers where markers mark individual questions)

2. In one of my exams I continued the essay on to some extra papers, and in the boxes of the extra paper, instead of writing 1,2,3,4 I just continued from the page they ended and wrote like 14, 15, etc (though I did write 1,2,3,4, under it). Would that be fine?

3. Also with some of the extra sheets I used in other exams, I didn't seem some of the pages for it, and I just wrote starts on next page. Is that fine?

I know this all may seem a little irrational, but I keep thinking about what would happen if I wrote the wrong qu number etc.

Thank you so much if you could help or clarify anything

if it is clear that you have answered certain questions using the extra pages, then you will be marked on them. examiners are not robots. if you wrote the wrong question number, i do not know

If the wrong question number is written, they can normally figure it out as the subject matter would be completely different. Examiners understand that students are in a high stress environment and minor slip ups are to be expected, so it should be okay i think

Hi, similar issue- I’ve written on some extra paper and put the number and stuff on the extra sheet but didn’t actually write in the real answer book that I’d carried on on some more paper- does that mean they won’t check there’s more to my answer ?

no it should be fine as they have to scan every sheet you hand in
