How can I bring my car to Royal Holloway

I have decided to do a degree in september at Royal Holloway, but the website says that you can not bring your car to halls?! I saw Kingswood does but I can not go into catered halls. I need my car at uni as I have a job that I can only get to by car two days of the week! Any advice on where and how I can park my car safely?!
Thank you!

I believe you can apply for a car parking permit, the details should be on the website here:

Hi there,

You can find information about parking on campus here: https://www.royalholloway.ac.uk/about-us/more/how-to-find-us/parking-on-campus/.

Best wishes,

Yes, you can only apply for a permit if you commute, so living in halls means you won't be eligible. If I were you I'd find space on a street somewhere in Englefield and move the car to a slightly different spot every time, to be mindful of not irritating residents in one particular area too much. The streets around there are free to park on without a permit and you'll be able to find somewhere that's 10-15mins walk from campus.

Ugh. My daughter is considering this Uni, but it sounds very unaccommodating. Really don't like the sound of it. :/
