Tesco Induction

I have a tesco induction later this week and am wondering where to go? Do i just walk into the store until i find an employee to ask where to go? Will there be some sort of signage? If anyone has done a tesco induction in a relatively big store i'd love to hear about it!? Thank u!

When doing inductions for stores like tesco as an employee to speak to the manager who has employed you (check emails for the name at the bottom) and then they will point you in the right direction

Hi

Congrats on your Tesco interview and getting offered a job.

So I would suggest on arrival to the store goto the customer service desk and ask the staff member to notify the manager that you are here for a induction meeting .
The staff member might take you through to either the canteen or perhaps to a confirmed/ meeting room alongside the others who'll also be doing a induction.

The induction is easy to do okay, it's about talking about health and safety, watching videos of how Tesco became how it is today, doing all the necessary paperwork ( filing in your Bank details, national insurance number, remember to have your photo ID with you, any Doc like right to work proof .... Yeah you probably provided some of the information as part of the interview process but they usually do it again at induction. Plus you'll do your uniform ordering as well.

Have you been told about your first 12 week's being a probation period and also about your pay being slightly less per hour than what you were told but once you have completed your probate period you'll be paid the full rates per hour as the others staff in the store ( during the probation period they are assessing everything you do to see if they are going to offer you a permanent job at the end of your probation period okay).

Good luck and hope you enjoy working with Tesco.
