Interesting that they're down to at least 17 on the reserve list after 3 days, especially if people have 7 days to respond.

Yep i was shocked, at first thought! it was the Home Office role where am also on reserve! where been on that few months now.

Well I emailed and I am positioned 123 from 234 candidates on the reserve list, so safe to say I can forget about this one😅

Just an update over a month late that I was made an offer on Thursday for this job despite being that low on the list. I'm luckily in a different (and better) job since applying for this and will be declining but just info for anyone on the list.

I scored 8, and I'm on reserve list. I think 12 is the highest and 8 is the minimum. What did you score?

Applied for a customer service advisor role for HMRC. For the Liverpool location. Deadline was 28/05/2024. Completed my pre recorded interview on 1st June. Has anyone heard back yet?

Glassdoor has all the answers on, the most common ones were the exact same i got to a T

Hi, try and see Glassdoor.co.uk, they have a few reviews related with HMRC costumer service advisor role, and you can see a few questions, it will mainly focus on costumer service and teamwork.
The questions will be for example:
What’s the most challenging thing about working in costumer service?
Why do you want this role?What do you think you can bring to this role?
What does costumer service means to you?
Why is teamwork important in costumer service?

I hope it helps, it’s a good idea using the STAR method but keep in mind that we only will have 2 minutes to answer each question and it will be roughly 6 questions.
