I am not, still going through checks. I am not available until 2025 but I can update when I start if you'd like to know.

Did you get your interview results via email or did you checked your civil service account?
And do you know if they email everyone even unsuccessful candidates?

They email that there has been an Application update and it usually says whether you were successful/reserve/ unsuccessful. And the feedback can be viewed on their website with your interview scores. I read that they reserve even successful candidates just to sort start dates-whether this is true for every department i'm not sure.

Thank you, I’ve been checking my civil service account but there’s still no interview scores, I guess it will take a while until we get our results.

Doesn't the fast stream result in being thrown literally into anywhere and anyplace? Sounds tough

Does anyone know if everyone starts at the same time? Or different cohorts start at different times?

Recived update yesterday stating “awaiting interview results” although I done the interview over 2 weeks ago

If I was to get accepted is it a bad look on me to request to start at a later date perhaps in March? I have an operation on mid January and it wud take approximately 6 weeks to full recovery.

Would they be understanding to me? I would appreciate anyone’s input.

Thanks in advance

Hi!
I think it’s normal for different cohorts to start at different times, as HMRC often schedules multiple intakes for training throughout the year.
Regarding your operation, I think it’s best to be open with them if you receive an offer. They will probably be understanding about your personal circumstances, especially if you need time for medical recovery, they may be able to accommodate your request for March, if there are multiple intake dates.
I would also check with HR once you’ve been accepted to discuss your situation.
Out of curiosity, which city did you apply for?

Yes, I’m hoping they are accommodating to my circumstances due to medical reasons. Yh I will definitely wait to be accepted first before saying anything. But I just read through the post and realised many people answered the strength interview using STAR method which I did NOT do. Although, I did answer every question. Nonetheless, it was a good experience as it was my first interview attempt.

I applied for Stratford , this was the only location advertised I think from memory but I could be wrong. Is that where you applied to aswell?

I prefer Stratford, as I live in East London.

I did 2 interviews at the same Time both PRIV online. This role n compliance officer EO. The questions were harder for this role compared to the EO role. But EO role had me answering 3 strengths n 2 behaviour. I always find strength questions harder to answer.

EO role I got rejected yesterday as I got a 3 for one behaviour question and pass mark for behaviour is 4. This role has all strength based questions so I’m curious to see how I scored. So I’m hoping we get answers soon on interview.

All the best

Plz keep us updated on how you get on

The wait is painful. I would simply like to know whether I was successful or not

I didn't answer in STAR for my questions and I passed the interview. But my feedback was that I should use STAR next time and make use of the full allocated time. STAR is just important to use for behaviours which might be why you were unsuccessful with your other role.

I applied for the Stratford position as well!
Since there were 250 vacancies, I’m guessing they received a large number of applications, so it might take a bit for them to get back to us with results.
I just checked my Civil Service account, and there’s no update since the invitation for the recorded interview on October 21st.
I think it’s just a waiting game at this point.

The wait is definitely stressful - I keep checking my account hoping for an update!
It’s hard not knowing, especially with so many people in the running.
Just trying to stay positive and patient, but it’s easier said than done.
Hope we hear something soon.

Hi, I recorded my interview on the 27th of October, the deadline was October 28th.
Hopefully by the end of next week we will know the results, usually they take three weeks to inform us about the results.

What do you hope to gain from the role? As it's call handing, it will involve reading or using a caller book guide and following instructions to the teeth and so very repetitive. What are your personal long term plans when it comes to moving from the role after say a year or two?

Check the job advert. Usually you can work from home two days a week for full time workers.

Hi everyone, I just noticed there was an update on the Civil Service website on the 27th of November.
My status now says Waiting for interview results “.
Has anyone else checked their status?
Just curious if anyone has noticed the same change!
