Disadvantages to taking a levels without GCSEs/iGCSEs?

Hi everyone. I didn’t take my iGCSEs when I left school and now I’m 18 and want to go back to education. I’ve been studying for my iGCSEs and basically covered the entire curriculum in the 6 subjects I would/want to take. If I want to take them I have to wait at least 6 months to take iGCSEs or a year for GCSEs, this is quite costly too.

Im going to go straight into an online college where there isn’t any gcse/igcse entry requirements.

If I shave a year of getting a levels and save a few thousand by skipping GCSEs will it cause any possible issues in the future when I go to uni?

I have heard (from other discussions) that some schools such as oxford / cambridge weights GCSE results as well, but I am not sure if it does on all subjects, maybe you can do some research towards this direction.
