15th June Open Day - where is information point / check in?

Trying to get organised for our visit to Bristol Open day this weekend - really struggling to find out where we go first to register

The ticket says to go to 'check in point', the website says go to 'information point' - but neither say where that actually is :frown:

While I am asking, not been to Bristol city centre for years, what's worth looking at near the Uni?

Vaguely remember you can walk down the hill from Uni tower to a dock area with cafes and nice stuff

My course talk is only at 2 in the afternoon but I get there for around 9 in the morning, Obviously there are accommodation talksand everything. But any suggestions on how to spend the time? Is the city centre a good spot?

There is no need to check-in centrally when you arrive.

Lots of time to explore, what are you looking to see?

Its 20 years since I was in Bristol but we plan to go down the hill to the area around Waterside Cinema (about 15 mins away) for some grub and then wander from there. The shops are another 15 mins towards Cabot Circus but we will probably explore around the river area. Another option is to walk toward the suspension bridge, nice park and icon views
