Uni Study Notes - History and Chinese

Hi! I’m studying Chinese and History next year and although I have found a good format for my notes, i was wondering if anyone taking similar subject would recommend any specific way of compiling these notes, particularly history? Since uni is a different style of teaching form college, I was wondering if anyone had advice on a smoother transition to uni study. Any and all advice is welcome!

I don't do either subject at degree level, but I'd recommend finding a way of making notes that is quick enough to be doable in a lecture but also useful. Many of the beautiful colour-coded notes that are stereotypical of some GCSE students would be completely infeasible at university.
