Do your mock grades matter when you apply for your Post-16 choices?

Your mock results, as well as what your teachers know of you will make up a predicted grade which will be used when applying for post-16 choices, it depends on the teacher (some give the grade you got on mocks, some don't take mocks into consideration at all) but I would say that they do

I would also want to add, if you feel you performed under your capability in a subject, most teachers would be willing to recognise that and increase the grade so you can apply to schools!
