summer holiday help

I'm in year 13 - I am gonna spend times with friends but for majority of the time, I won't be spending everyday with them so I do want smt to do to pass the time.
I don't have much money so I was wondering if there were any good skills to pick up like langages or just knwolegde in general

Hi there!

Have you considered volunteering?

It gives you skills, confidence and experience. It is also very rewarding.

You can usually find a volunteer role in any sector that interests you.

I volunteered at a school, reading to children one morning every week. I currently volunteer with West Midlands Police, in various roles, including admin, teaching, and policing.

I have loved every minute of it! I have made new friends, gained confidence, and it has opened up so many doors for me.

Have a great summer!

you can volunteer, learn music or learn a skill at home through youtube this can count as an extracurricular to universities as long as you say you're self taught. Maybe learn a language or learn how to knit or crochet as you just need a string of yarn for that and a crochet hook.

You can also take up tutoring maybe if you were really good at a particular subject, or you could even tutor people on the English language and that way, you can pick up some of the words or language from the person that you're tutoring.

There's lots you could do
