teacher issues
so i kind of just wanted to vent, if anyone does read this please feel free to lmk your thoughts
so i started a brand new college and i struggled a lot, i was on antidepressants for half of the year, this obviously impacted my exam performance as a year 12 and i just was not doing well with frequent a&e visits etc, got put off the medication and in febuary we had parents evening and one of my teachers was very disappointed in my performance, they were quite critical on why i chose that subject and didnt think ill get into uni. so in this subject i was on a Es and Us for part of the year then after parents evening i got a B in the next exam, in the mock exam i was 1 mark off a C and i also wasnt given extra time which the college discovered i needed after i had done my mocks so now i have 1 more test before the end of the year for this subject and i want to do really well in it
in y13 i will have a different teacher for this subject so only the current teacher i have right now will write my predicted grade
my relationship with this teacher is not that good i find it difficult to talk and engage with them particularly bc i feel like they think im stupid
so hearing all this, do you guys think this teacher would give me a prediction of a B

Sorry I don't know much about how the system works in the UK, but I think depending how you do in that last exam, I think your teacher will give you a prediction of B or C

Each school has a different system for making predicted grades.
But if you are unhappy, and feeling upset/overwhelmed, you need to speak to your Head of Sixth or similar, and before the end of term. This is exactly the sort of personal problem they are there to help with.
