missed offer conditions by <1%

Obviously, I can’t give you any guarantees, but in my opinion you still have a very good chance of getting in granted the course isn’t too oversubscribed or competitive.
Call the university admissions team up and explain the situation. Good luck!
P.S. It’s worth seeing if you can get a couple of module exams remarked. If you can push the grade up to 79.5%, your final transcript may end up showing a rounded up graded of 80% (mine did). Check with your course coordinator!

Thank you so much for the reply, i'll contact my teachers and see if i can get them remarked and hopefully get a few more marks to make that 80%, ill also contact the university admissions team. )

Yh i got in yippee, my friend got like 10% lower and still got in so i think it should be fine, i would advise you to give them a call see what they say

im a foundation student and i happened to be able to secure an offer from aston into first year for getting 80% overall in all modules.
Context:
One Module relied heavily on group work (80% of that module) and my group decided to not do anything even though they kept promising to do it by a date and when i asked for an update they haven't done anything with the work due and eventually do it late, so i soloed the last bits in the last week of uni because they were taking too long to complete the work and i wanted a good grade so that i can reach 80%. IN ALL MODULES EXCEPT ONE i got 80%+ but in this one module i got 64% ;- ;
now the overall percentage for all modules is 79.4%, will i still get in?
