Is Jordan safe for a year abroad?

Hi, I wanted to ask if whether Amman is safe given what’s happening in Palestine due to Israel’s actions. I have to do a year abroad for Arabic there and I’m not sure if it’ll be safe or not?
Also how is it there in terms of the heat, I know it’s hot but I burn sooo easily so what precautions could I/should I take if I go?

It’s safe and you’re practically not affected at all by the war. It’s hot in the summer 35-40 degrees C during the day. Wear light clothes and spf everyday and you’ll be sorted. The best time to go out is just before sunset- perfect temp, beautiful skies, everything stays open till late and that’s when everything gets busy.

Hi, what have you decided on Jordan in the end? Did you travel there? Same concerns here.

The situation has changed so much since the last post. Intercepted missile debris fell on streets of Amman last week injuring two people.
