Hello, you don’t need work experience to apply for a law degree, even one in the Russell Group. Universities don’t expect applicants to have work experience and you wont be disadvantaged for not having any.

No work-experience is needed for Law - its an academic degree. and what Unis want to see is your academic engagement with the subject, and that you are generally thinking beyond just A levels.

Some of the following Moocs (short, free, online courses) would be useful to do over the summer :
Inside the UK Supreme Court - Online Law Course - FutureLearn
Jurisprudence Course: The Philosophy of Law - Online Law Courses - FutureLearn
What Is International Human Rights Law - Online Law Course - FutureLearn
From Crime to Punishment - Online Course - FutureLearn
And BBC podcasts from the Law Show will also give you examples of topics to discuss in your PS :
BBC Radio 4 - The Law Show - Available now
