Am I getting an U

After my history exam today, my paper had been collected and as I was leaving I talked to my friend who sat on the role next to me and he used his computer for the exam and it hasn’t been taken in yet, my teacher said he’s gonna write it in for the exam board. Am I gonna fail?

you're going to have to be more specific. It's not really clear what your issue is. Even if they didn't initially take in your paper, they're not going to just leave it there to rot. As long as you sat the exam and put at least some details on the paper, you're good.

if your paper was already collected it may not be a huge issue for you however obviously they can argue that you may have given him some answers.

Talking about exam related things in an exam board will lose you aggregation. As long as the board follows JCQ malpractice guidelines, you will almost certainly receive a U in your history GCSE/A level, if I understand you correctly. Even if you are lucky enough to only lose this component, you might not do great anyway with 0 in a paper. However, you should avoid disqualification from all exams or being barred from taken public exams for a set number of years. Good luck. And if you do anything like that again, or do something like bring in a phone/watch, you'll definitely be disqualified for the series.

Oh right sorry. I completely misunderstood. Hopefully your friend doesn't actually complain to the exam board because that would just be really petty; all you can really do is hope for the best and not do it again

The invigilator saw and sent a report to the exam board. Look at the OP.

Ah sorry again, I'm too clueless. I thought that the 'he' was referring to the friend but teacher makes much more sens.
