I know but I think they will be higher as they want to decrease the proportion of people obtaining A*/A (as during covid many people were given teacher-assessed grades), bringing the grade boundaries back to the proportion of people getting A*/A in 2018/19. Also, people taking up maths AND further maths increases, so they will do better than people taking a level maths only, they will ultimately increase the grade boundaries. Paper 3 was very accessible so people will genuinely do better so bringing the grade boundaries higher.

This isn’t true I’m glad to say. Proportion of people who got A/A* in alevel maths last year was about 40% - same as 2019. You can see this here by filtering for maths - https://analytics.ofqual.gov.uk/apps/Alevel/Outcomes/ .This year they will want to hold that as constant as they did pre pandemic, therefore if the papers are easier boundaries will go up and vica versa. I think the general consensus is that pure was a bit harder but applied was easier so I wouldn’t expect the boundaries to really change much more than a couple of % either way.

Please remember not to take these and start to worry. Grade boundaries are set with everyone's results in mind. It's almost impossible to truly know how you've done when looking at these, best to try and keep them out of your mind if you can.
