Chemical Engineering Universities

Hello, I'm in year 12 taking maths, further maths, physics and chemistry. I am predicted around A* in everything (for now). I plan to do chemical engineering at university and have been especially looking for universities that offer placement years / year in industry as a Meng. However with my grades I could apply to Imperial despite them not offering a year in the industry. Does anyone who applied to imperial/ is studying at Imperial suggest I apply to Imperial if for now I'm set on working in the industry?
do they do any subject lectures?
that could give you more information

I was more asking if there is a point to applying to imperial if they don't offer and placement year which is something I really want to do despite Imperial being a top university.
