Chemical Engineering Universities

Hello, I'm in year 12 taking maths, further maths, physics and chemistry. I am predicted around A* in everything (for now). I plan to do chemical engineering at university and have been especially looking for universities that offer placement years / year in industry as a Meng. However with my grades I could apply to Imperial despite them not offering a year in the industry. Does anyone who applied to imperial/ is studying at Imperial suggest I apply to Imperial if for now I'm set on working in the industry?
do they do any subject lectures?
that could give you more information

I was more asking if there is a point to applying to imperial if they don't offer and placement year which is something I really want to do despite Imperial being a top university.

I would personally recommend going else where like Manchester or Birmingham, although they are not the top of the top they are still highly ranked, have good career and placement prospects especially when looking at Manchester which is the birthplace of chemical engineering.
Most unis offer the year in placement for all students even if you’re not specifically on that course for “year in industry”
