army degree apprenticeship
Does anyone know what the rules are about transferring after a year of uni into the army? I am applying to study mental health nursing at both Manchester university or as a degree apprenticeship in the army, and they would fund my course at Birmingham university instead. I don't think I will get into the army this year but more likely next year instead and I don't want to give up my space at the University in case I don't get accepted, so hoping to transfer out of Manchester after my first year to do that.

Best to ask your local AFCO. However, there's no guarantee of getting into the Army and it can take months to get through selection, so how were you planning to time it so you could be available for the start of a course? Funding aside, can you finish the course at Manchester then apply?
