i got 33.something degrees for the last question, n^100 for 1/4 x n^400

what do we think grade boundaries will be like? the majority of my school thought it was horrid

yeah, a lot of the year 10s were wishing they did intermediate, i’ve heard they’ll be similar to 2019 though

My answers for higher:

Similar Shapes: A and C
Venn Diagram: 9 and 1 with probability of 16/19
Trig and Pythag: 28.01 degrees
Volume of Tank: 44litres
Quadratic formula: -0.05 and -3.11
Area of Triangle (1/2absinC)= 128cm^2
Cosine Graph: 60degrees and 300 degrees
Last Q Cosine Rule: 33.78 degrees

My tutor went through and confirmed all

Also the 1/4 x 2^400 was a really weird one, and its not to the power of 100. It's 2^398 and 1/4 can be written as 2^-2. I defo got that wrong.

Yes I managed to work it out in the exam by doing 2^100 / 4 which when doing some trial and error on my calculator equalled 2^98 so then I tried it again for 2^200 / 4 which was 2^198 so then I thought that 2 must be taken away from the power.
