Trouble with getting a CAS letter and changing conditional offer to unconditional

Hi all,

I'm enrolled as a Postgraduate for Glasgow School of Art in the Fall of 2024. Very excited but also stressed trying to figure out when I will be able to get my visa based on when my grades will be finalized at my U.S. institution. I am finishing a summer course I need to complete my degree and the class ends June 31st. My official transcript will update anywhere from 4-6 weeks after August 8th and my program at the GSA begins September 16th. I tried to ask the admissions office in Glasgow if they can accept a verification letter from my schools registrar along with a copy of my transcript as proof of my qualification for Unconditional acceptance and to generate my CAS letter sooner than later but they responded it has to be an official transcript. I pleaded with my registrar here in the U.S. to see if they could process my transcript early but I hit a bureaucratic brick wall and was told no, they can only send a verification letter as proof of my degree qualification until grades are processed after August 8th. I wrote back the GSA explaining the situation and how the way my current registrar is updating transcripts - would hinder my visa process and delay my start to the program, and if they could offer me an options like starting the program late, deferring enrollment or making an exception and accepting the verification letter. I was wondering if anyone on here has experience with this kind of situation? I feel like I've fallen through the cracks of bureaucracy between my U.S. school and the Glasgow School of Art. If any of you have experienced something like this how did it go for you? Did you defer your enrollment until next year? Did you start late or did someone in admissions or the international department work with you? I wrote the Admissions office at the school last week and they still have not got back to me - so I'm feeling very anxious about it all.
