Hi!! Planning to take a gap year too!
How are you planning to revise for ucat? After exams? What website/app has been useful for you?

Hiya, I’ve already taken my UCAT exam before and I used medify to practise!

I didn’t get the best result bc I left it until a week before the test to prepare but medify is very useful because it gives you lots and lots of practise questions.

Also I’m going to start preparing for UCAT after my exams definitely

hey so not really related to the UCAT but i’m also thinking about taking a gap year for medicine as my predicted grades are too low (i’m just finishing year 12) and wanted to ask, did u still have to submit ur uni application at the start of yr13 , or are u applying this october?

hey , as you are starting year 13 in September . Nothing is too late for you , look at foundation year with medicine which is 6 years ( pathway to medicine or extended medical degree with KCL) as the entry requirements are lower e.g Bristol : BBC and KCL : ABB. I already did my A levels exams so yes I will be applying for this October . If your grades are too low then do a gap year which means you will apply in October 2025.
