are there football tournaments or something like that here in the uk

In the UK, the football rivalry is so big. I'd recommend supporting a team like Leicester or West Ham or Aston Villa because they don't have too many rivals and are good exciting teams in the biggest league in the world.
The football system in England has 5 main tiers with extra competitions...
1) premier league (best)
2) championship
3) league 1
4) league 2
5) national league

The best 3 teams from the lower leagues can advance to the league above them and the worst 3 teams in each league drops to the league below them. There are leagues below the national league but they are basically unknown. Leicester got relegated from the premier league 2 years ago, but last season won promotion back to the prem.
On top of these leagues, there are tournaments like the FA Cup (open to nearly every team in england) and the carabou cup (open to the top 3 leagues). The top 4 teams in the prem can play in the champions league (best teams in Europe) and 5th place in the prem (and/or the winner of the FA Cup) can play in the Europa League (still big, but not as big as the UCL). 7th place in the prem can play in the UEFA Conference League (this is worthless to the big teams, but for teams like the ones I mentioned at the beginning, they are big).
The european games get played alongside the FA Cup, Carabou Cup and whatever league the team is playing in, so the fixture schedule is tight.
Good luck picking a team. I would recommend Leicester or Aston Villa because they play a nice style of football and you also won't be many people's bad sides

Man Utd vs Liverpool is the biggest rivalry probably in the world. Me and @Mohammed_2000 both support man utd whilst other people support Liverpool. We hate them scousers and would do anything to beat them. Stay safe tho and pick a smaller but good premier league team

Before a tournament, the manager submits a list of players that will be part of the team during the tournament. Rashford, mount and sterling did not make the list and therefore can't play in this euros. They might have a chance next world cup though.
England played terrible against serbia and denmark. They don't deserve to win this year
