Backing out of student house
I’ve paid deposit for a student house but have found a safer house to live in. Will I get my deposit back?

It doesn’t say anything in the contract about ending the contract early
I would ask your Student Union to review it and locate the relevant section. Failing that, the landlord or letting agent should be able to advise.
