Essay Themes Help Needed ‼️

So i need to write a 1300 word persuasive/argumentitive essay on a theme of my choice, i’m not sure on what mines should be?

I’ve been looking at 3 vague topics but i’m open to more: Art, Fashion, and Film.

For film i’ve been thinking of something to do with The Hunger Games, The Truman Show, or something more generalised such as representation or the portrayal of women in film.

For art i’ve been thinking about the downfall of art such as minimalism, modern art, or even something such as “Why art is so valuable in our modern society”. And for fashion, i can’t really think of any so far.

As you can tell i need help to refine an idea and pick one, one that can be turned into a good line of argument for a (preferably) persuasive essay - can anyone help?

You could write an essay on whether fiction is starting to become reality (hunger games, dystopia with celebrities and social issues) or the importance of fashion costuming in film, whether or not historical accuracy is important in movies and tv shows (compare bridgerton, marie antoinette 2006 with more historically accurate movies).

For art, you could write about how art is slowly losing relevance in a world that is so obsessed with science, business and technology. You can have two sides: one that agrees with art being a thing of the past (mention AI, government funding for technology compared to art) and the other side saying that art is a core foundation in society (include importance of the renaissance and what effects it had, art being a universal language, etc)

I would recommend Mina Le's video essays on youtube for inspiration, she does videos on fashion, art, history and film
