French IRP

I’m currently in year 12 and need to start deciding on an IRP topic. I’ve been struggling to find a topic but I’ve seen that you could do one on a french book which interests me as I love reading. How would I do an IRP about a book? Would it have to be a impactful or influential book?

Hey I did Spanish but I did my IRP on a book and it was quite nice to research. I would pick a book that is fairly well known in France, read it in English and then decide what the main themes of the book are and then you should be able to pick a topic that you know you'll be able to research for. I would recommend researching in French if possible and when you write your presentation, try to include complex grammar like subjunctive 🙂 The most important part of the IRP is memorisation which comes very near the end so try not to worry too much and if you have any further questions feel free to ask!
