Civil service help

Hello,

I applied for AO role and was put on reserve list. Then I received an email advising similar role has become available and I have been offered that. I accepted the offer. I sent my pre-employment information and received an email saying all my employment checks have been successfully completed and I would soon be sent formal contract. After 4 days I receive an email saying the role is no longer available!!! This was so devastating.

Can someone advise what to do now? First thye said they would be soon sending me formal contract and then saying role no longer available.

I am very frustrated
