Gcses

Continue of my previous story, I think I got 5s like because I failed I haven’t gained that confidence during the exam season or even before because so many events happened, and I’ll never be able to do med with those gcse grades and what if I don’t get into a levels too therefore I was planning to start doing the effective revision during these summer holidays because now I have gained the confidence I’m sure I can get 9s but I’ll have to resit sciences in summer 2025 and maths either November or summer however I need to pay and I don’t think after my parents are disappointed they would let me do this cause they’ll obv be like we gave you a chance but the thing is now I believe in myself but resitting will make me late for unis so ucas will see that I’ve done gcses three times and first time I had fails then medium and now obv good because it’ll be my third time. What do y’all think should I do it? also when I was in year 11 I was the youngest like I should’ve been in year 10 because in the country I came from the topics are taught depending on what class you in so I had overall two years gap cause of covid plus a year jump directly to year 10 where things didn’t make sense to me. So now I’m 16 turning 17 this year so in 2025 I’ll be 18 whereas the people who sat gcses in 2023 will be doing their a level exams and when I’m 18 I won’t even be allowed to be in sixthform will I? I have searched but I have no clue about that too and I’m overall I can’t do a levels privately it would cost me a lot so pleaseee send help 😭😭 I’m really like overwhelmed by everything that is going on
What do I doo

you should be able to try and join a sixth form with these grades, it may not be the best but this means you can get the free education until 18. whilst you are studying for your a-levels, you should be studying for your gcse resits as well. so that in y12 summer you can resit your gcses, and then you can do a-lvels in y13 summer.

thi means tht your y12 will be very stressful and hectic but this may be the only way.

or, i have also heard of colleges (ik there is one in leicester), where they take in students with low gcse grades and then they will specifically teach you gcse content again during the first yr. alongside this, you will also be studying towards a chosen job path.

so this will be like skipping a-lvels and going to an apprenticeship, while you can learn and resit your gcses.
after 2 yrs, im pretty sure you also have the choice to pursue a degree in the job path you chose

Also if I can join sixthform they give 16-19 bursary fund which I’ll be 100% eligible for and it’s a good amount which I can use it to pay my gcse resits but it all depends in this year’s results 😭 trust me my life has become the most stressful than I ever thought it could be but I know god has purpose for everything, thank you for replying
