Jobs for 15/16

does anyone know any store that employs 15-year-olds? I'm done with my GCSEs and I need some extra cash.

PS I would be 16 in 2 months.

Hi

Currently you could apply for a job in boots the chemist as they employ young people from the age of 15 with restrictions until you are 18 ( age restriction area's).

When you turn 16 then apply to the likes of Tesco, said, Asda, Morrisons and any other retailers you can think of..... Only problem with supermarkets is that they have a age restriction for certain departments ( need to be 18 and over) but don't let that put you off for working with them.

You could also ask any local independent shops within your area of they are looking for someone but you'll be pay bare minimum wage compared to very good rates of pay at supermarkets.

if try more local businesses (e.g. cafes) as they are more likely to hire younger people with no experience (assuming it's your first job) but id make them aware of your age when applying, think you'd have to wait till you were actually 16 for jobs by large companies but doesn't hurt to look

Once you are 16, most places will take you on. You can start applying now, as with the applications, interviews etc, by the time you get somewhere you will be 16 anyway.
