Dry eyes

My eyesight has been funny in the last few days, feels a bit like eyestrain, with some changes to my vision; along with being watery, twitching, and maybe a little bloodshot. i went to an optician today and they diagnosed me with dry eyes. but in the last week or so i've also had symptoms like a metallic taste in my mouth, acid reflux and burning sensatioins across my body. i went to the doctor about them and they've done a blood test, awaiting results, only suggested it could be diabetes which doesn't sit right as i'm 21, fit and healthy and not overweight. Just worried something is going on and its been missed?

Type 1 diabetes actually common in the 20's and can have some of your symptoms. Blood test is a good idea to rule it out.

Blood tests back, nothing like diabetes.
Still got a burning sensation in my legs which seems to be most prominent in the afternoon

What are the blood results? Any sign of insufficiency or something? White blood cells count is normal? (All these could also be signs of an infection).
Do you do sports?
What is your nutrition looks like?
Have you been to a dentist recently or had any type of surgery recently?

So had two recent blood tests one for this one for another issue which was already scheduled (unrelated)

for this issue on the 7th monocytes were 0.93 , outside the usual range of 0.8 max, and eosiophol was 0.5, outside of the the max range of 0.3

on the 12th, the monocytes had gone down to 0.6 so within the usual range but the eosiophol and tripled to 0.15

It does look like you had (or still have) an infection. So it is possible from the infection.
Do you take any meds?

Ritalin, thats it.

It can cause general dryness, but it is highly unlikely.
Most likely it started with infection that probably was treated or just your immune system got rid of it and not it is only dryness, probably from AC or nutrition or both.

Visit your GP again.

I'm just wondering if the burning sensations are related? They started a few days before the eye issue. The day the burning started i'd taking sildenafil but i haven't taken it since. What sort of infection could cause this though? online it doesn't seem to elaborate much
