GCSE special exam consideration

Hello everyone,

I was recently wondering if my circumstance would be a valid reason for a special exam consideration, as I do believe it has genuinely affected my exams. I won’t go into loads of detail as it is quite personal, however I love with a disabled brother who is very, very noisy. Often, this affects my ability to study, along with having to sometimes take care of him in times I would like to be studying. In addition to this, there has been some very distressing situations which have not only ruined my motivation and ability to study, but my performance in exams as it lurks in my head and makes it nearly impossible to recall information sometimes.

Any responses would be appreciated

I would talk to your exams officer or someone at school who can email or communicate with, I think, JCQ, who can then decide if special consideration should be given, but yeah, talk to someone at school as it's difficult to say whether you'd get it or not, but worth a try asking about it
