Do i have a chance?

lol this is so random.
All my life i have been the 'dumb' one in school. I used to be in bottom set maths and english. Right now i am doing my gcses and hope to get 999999988877, i know these are very good grades and i should be happy but why do i feel like ive lost because i wont get all 9s? i feel like ive let myself down, i flopped the one oportunity to prove to everyone that i am smart. Can i change? Do i still have a chance to become that A* student i never was? Im sorry this sounds so petty but i go to a grammar school- all my friends are predicted close to all 9s so i just feel so useless and want to change.
If you get your head down and put in the effort, the reward will come. It's definitely achievable. Don't think about what others get around you; think about yourself, and think about proving them wrong. Having a good mindset and working hard can get you those grades.

Focus on yourself and stop comparing yourself to others, also your gcse grades are not as important as a levels so think about your future and doing good for yourself rather than proving others wrong. You can do it!
